EXECUTION ASSURANCE
AVRIAL
Execution assurance
A local execution architecture for critical operations within explicitly defined authority.

01 / THE ENGINEERING QUESTION
Under which conditions may a critical operation be executed?
When execution control, failures and recovery need to be examined.
An engineering boundary separates a decision from an external action. A command may be accepted but not yet executed; a process may restart while its outcome remains unknown. Conflating these states obscures what the system may do and what has already happened.
AVRIAL concerns a local architecture in which authority, operation state, execution and recovery are distinct, coordinated responsibilities.
02 / SCOPE OF WORK
What needs to be defined
- The operation context and expected outcome
- Risks of error or interruption
- Evidence needed for integration review
What needs to be understood
- Which authority is needed for the operation?
- Which failures matter in the customer environment?
- Which outcome can be confirmed independently?
03 / ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE
Updating a critical software component
A version and permission to update have been agreed. The review identifies interruption risks and the outcome evidence needed in that environment.
This example explains the research subject; it is not a report of a completed engagement.
04 / TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT
Materials for a substantive review
An agreed assessment of a particular candidate should identify, prepare and examine the following materials.
Only a bounded summary of the local BOARD-EX-001 check is public; programme materials are reviewed within an agreed scope. This does not qualify a release. No separate packages for the other five programmes are published here. DA-EX-001 concerns only the inquiry form on this site.
- Execution boundaries for the specific environment
- A matrix of risks and uncertainties
- A plan for an agreed technical check
