INDEPENDENT ASSURANCE
BOARD
Evidence for admission
An independent evidence assessment layer for software artifacts before an admission decision.

01 / THE ENGINEERING QUESTION
Which evidence supports assessment of a specific release?
When a technical admission decision needs an explicit basis.
Source code, a test report and a claim about a property are different kinds of material. Release assessment requires knowing which version each result concerns, what was checked and which questions remain open.
BOARD concerns independent artifact assessment: connecting claims and criteria with the material on which an admission decision can be based.
02 / SCOPE OF WORK
What needs to be defined
- An identified release or candidate
- Stated properties and acceptance criteria
- Reports, logs and the conditions of completed checks
What needs to be understood
- Do all materials concern this exact artifact?
- Does the verification method address the stated property?
- Which conclusions are supported and which remain open?
03 / ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE
Assessing a candidate before integration
A team provides a build and test results. The review examines whether build identity, test conditions and customer criteria align, and what is missing for the next decision.
This example explains the research subject; it is not a report of a completed engagement.
04 / TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT
Materials for a substantive review
An agreed assessment of a particular candidate should identify, prepare and examine the following materials.
Only a bounded summary of the local BOARD-EX-001 check is public; programme materials are reviewed within an agreed scope. This does not qualify a release. No separate packages for the other five programmes are published here. DA-EX-001 concerns only the inquiry form on this site.
- A mapping of claims to evidence and version
- Gaps and boundaries of the technical conclusion
- Materials structured for independent repeat review
